Can I melt paraffin wax for arthritis in an ordinary pot on the stove? - hand wax machine

Wanted to buy a paraffin bath electric machine used for arthritis in the hand, and I went to Wal-Mart, because I had seen before Christmas, but nothing more. Can I melt with a pot in the oven, the wax, or will ruin the pan?

It would certainly be easier to use machine-made effects.

Yes, you can use a saucepan on the stove, but you need a boiler - double for something to use the wax in direct contact with the pot that guarantees in the heating unit is on. This would lead to a fire.

I think it is an ideal temperature for the treatment of arthritis, which coincides with the temperature of the paraffin to a point. Therefore, one can want to have a thermometer well.

The wax does not ruin your boat or container, but it has a good dose of heat, detergent and washing for the wax.

See unit for use in the production could be better?

I use a water bath and a stainless steel bowl. In this way, he could not reuse the wax into the cup and later.

It will probably ruin the pot, and can cause severe burns. If you can not find, can be) a warm paraffin (Walgreens to test the wax in the microwave, heat 30 seconds at a time. Use an ice lolly stick on the bench inside of your wrist until you will know how many minutes must be heated in the microwave.
I am a hairdresser and I have seen more than my share of people that were burned w / House of Wax kits or at home. Good luck.
