Does anyone know where I can find some cheap/2nd hand amateur radio equipment? - vhf radio license paddlewise

I live in the UK and get my license soon Amateur Radio Foundation Course (can not run) more than 10 watts, I wonder if anyone knows a place, English (preferably in or near Nottinghamshire) where you can drag a good Cheap/2nd VHF platform pocket, because I'm a little bare at the moment!
